#1. Rita Ora’s Alexandre Vauthier dress was the kind of drama I like to see on the red carpet. I would give anything for those gorgeous shoes, too! (Okay, well not anything.)
#2. I was just having this conversation with one of my good friends today. With Selena Gomez, I am indifferent. I know that she seems to be everybody’s sweetheart (or every guy’s, shall I say?), but I never got what the big deal was about. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I suddenly have this revelation and see the light. I will, however, say that she wore an amazing Atelier Versace gown to the VMAs this year – quite similar to the one Liz Hurley wore many years ago.
#3. Speaking of risqué, Ciara didn’t disappoint in this Givenchy couture creation. The daring bits of visible skin made this dress enthralling, and I loved the shiny bits and pieces here and there. I was just wondering how perfectly she had to move to make sure her embellishments didn’t “fall out of place”, though? Just wondering…
#4. Iggy Azalea in gold Emilio Pucci – Wow. I feel like there’s too much of skin going on here. Moving SWIFTLY on…
#5. At first glance, I could have sworn that this girl looked like Marilyn Monroe just a little too much. Taylor Swift is channeling Old Hollywood glamour, and she is doing it right in this Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress.
#6. Teen Wolf star Holland Roden donning a rather eccentric, but true-to-form Naeem Khan creation. Pants. Check. Skirt. Check. One of my best dressed??? Check, a thousand times, check.
#7. Oh, Coco Rocha, you go ahead and flaunt that beaut of a jacket! Seen here in Fausto Puglisi and rocker attitude, it’s no wonder I can’t resist her look.
#8. But isn’t this whole get-up just adorable, for some reason? Ariana Grande’s Kenley Collins dress is just the cutest thing I saw on the red carpet! Looks like something I would wear, too.
#9. Wow, Ellie Goulding. Love this girl’s music, love this girl’s Amato couture dress. Blissful for the eyes & painful for those who want to give her a friendly hug, though…
#10. Will and Jada Smith’s kids are the coolest! I love their laid-back style – plus they look so chilled out. Effortless fashion for the young at heart, like myself. xx
You’re spot on about #6. It was gutsy and original. At first I overlooked it because of the neutral color, but it’s really grown on me. I also agree with what you said about too much skin in a particular outfit. To me that just looks trashy, like a woman who’s desperate for attention and threw class out the window trying to get it.
